A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate in the field of science I have extensive experience with writing scientific papers, reports, essays as well as manuals for standard operating procedures. In the course of completing my degrees I have gained laboratory experience in physical and biological chemistry as well as human anatomy. I have tutored students at the high -school level in Biology. I have tutored students as part of Students for Academic Success(SAS)and individually at the college level in English, History, Math, Chemistry, Biology, Genetics, Evolution, Human Anatomy and Physiology. A Little Bit About Me...

I discover the level of the learning ability of the student and begin at that level. I then work upwards combining a multiple tasking formula. I also provide vocabulary and concept enhancement because I believe if one understands the words of the science, one can understand the science more clearly. I also make sure that basic math skills are not the limiting factor in the students's failure to succeed in mastering the science.
Experience teaching or tutoring: substitute teacher for high schools in approximately 6 unified school districts; student taught undergraduates in college while an undergraduate myself; took classes in tutoring while in college; tutored undergraduates in astronomy and chemistry; currently a part-time substitute teacher at the local school district.
