I am very passionate about teaching. I am a very hands-on type of teacher that really likes to get the student involved in their learning. I like to set goals for learning, but also find it important for students to set their own goals as well. I believe that all children can learn, no matter what. It is just my job as a teacher to be able to help figure out their best way to learn as well as bring those resources to that student for their success.
I graduated National-Louis University with a 3.7 GPA, and am also in the Kappa Delta Pi honors society for teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience in teaching is limited other than helping my brother-in-law with tutoring through algebra in college. I enjoyed it very much, and it was extremely fulfilling. I can tutor/teach various courses in math, business, engineering/construction technology, etc.
I want to guide the student to figuring out the right answer themselves by demonstrating a problem for them, and having them work a similar one. I will be there step by step to offer direction in a very pleasant, easy going manner.

I had always wanted to be a teacher, but after teaching for several years I found that I enjoyed the one-on-one experience more. I have a triple major in math education, elementary education and physical education. My professional experience includes math teacher, physics teacher, accountant, business owner and financial manager.
I love helping people realize that they are smarter than they think. Seeing the look on a student's face when he/she grasps a new concept is a very rewarding experience. I understand that most people want to do well, but have often encountered hurdles that don't allow them the success that they are seeking. With a BS in Architecture I have a strong background in math and science and I have always had a strong determination to excel in my education. Also while pursuing my degree I served as a teacher's assistant for multiple courses in my discipline. I also was a department tutor for three of my four years in college and I often worked with individuals or groups with various subjects that they were struggling with. My strengths are mathematics, sciences (especially strong in physics), the arts and structural mathematics.
