Not every child learns at the same pace. I am a believer in giving every child a chance. I am a firm believer that the best way to learn varies from subject to subject. When I taught math my view was that the best way to teach was to break everything down into a step by step process and have the students memorize the process. Most other subjects can be learned through repitition, but math requires everything to be broken down.
