I have experience across the boards. I have taught students from the first grade level to the college level. I have earned a BA and an MA, both in Physics with a focus on education, but opted to take all of my electives in Math and Earth Science, which has enabled me to have a further reaching range of abilities. I did a minor in history for the purpose of understanding not only the science of my work, but also where the science came from. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always wanted students to really know the material being covered. This has meant keeping their interest through jovial yet concentrated lesson planning. I have always strived to make my students feel comfortable and to take on the responsibility for their own learning. Much too often Educators show students how to answer questions rather than helping the student learn how to handle new scenarios. This is the essence of my teaching: helping students see the big picture so that they can handle any new scenario.
