I recently relocated to the Huntersville area. I recently graduated from UNCW with a degreee in Psychology with a focus on children. Since middle school, working with children has been my passion. I realized my dream after some of my cousins came over to America from the war torn country of Liberia and were having a very hard time adjusting. I was accepted to UNC Chapel Hill's Master's Program for Rehabilitation but declined after fearing it would take me down the path of working with the elderly instead of working with children. A Little Bit About Me...

I have learned many different theories and ways of teaching, most of which I incorporate in my style of teaching. The ones I really believe in and use most are using a hands on approach using the ideas of inquiry and real life experiences in order to make learning the most meaningful and interesting. All children are different therefore individualized programs are needed in order for the child to succeed. A Little Bit About Me...

I would love the opportunity to teach grade school children. It was during my formidable years that I can recall a young lady who impacted my education in a very significant way.
