I enjoy being around the students. I wake up every morning wanting to go to work. I received scores of 760 in Math on both the SAT I and II, and a score of 800 in Math on the GRE's. I have taken several high level calculus, engineering mathematics, and statistics classes at the University of Delaware, aside from receiving a 5 on both the Calculus and the Statistics AP Exams. I have tutored elementary students in the past, and was part of a 'teaching scientists' after school company briefly in college.

My initial approach is to ascertain exactly where the student stands prior to starting any course work. Students can be and are easily frustrated with work that is either beyond their ability or more advanced. Frustration can be either eliminated or reduced when students have a better understanding of their work.
