A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been driven to do more with my life. I have always had goals in life and often times pursued them. My BS degree in Biology was one of these goals I have accomplished. In my education at the University of South Dakota, I have learned many skills that I know I will use in the future. Some of these sills not only include the studies of Biology and Chemistry, but also my Spanish speaking skills have improved. A Little Bit About Me...

I just graduated in May 2009 with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently working on obtaining my Masters Degree in Human Factors Psychology. I also obtained minor degrees in English and Entrepreneurial Studies at USD. Consequently I believe that through my studies at USD I have exemplary skills in the area of critical thinking / writing and possess a plethora of knowledge that I can pass onto a younger generation. I have been substitute teaching for four years for all grades and all subjects. I have been tutoring in my home for two years all grades in mainly mathematics. I have trained students in cognitive thinking skills at Learning RX for 2 years. I have three children of my own, two in college and one is a senior in high school. I was a stay-at-home mom for 20 years and I have worked with my children in of all their subjects. I earned my AS in Mathematics in 2003 and my BS in Secondary Education in 2006.
