A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy seeing children learn new things. I know that every child learns differently. It is important to get to know the children that you are teaching and figure out what teaching technique fits there needs. I feel like I do an excellent job of portraying what I am trying to teach.
I have always loved children. Children are precious and all have very unique learning techniques. When I was a senior at Maryville High School, I taught Spanish to first graders. My partner and I were in charge of making lesson plans and fulfilling these plans for each class. I really enjoyed seeing the children get excited about learning.

As an AP student in high school, I tested out of U.S. History and freshman English/Composition. I tested out of the first year of Spanish via UT's foreign language placement exams as well. With 18 "free" credits under my belt from day one, I was able to pursue my love for writing in the journalism program.
