My comments on tutoring Spanish : I took Spanish in high school and have a Minor in Spanish from the University of South Dakota.

I am a graduate of SDSU and a mother of two children. One graduate and one in highschool. I have volunteered many hours in elementary and middle school classrooms. During my time at the University of Missouri-Columbia, I earned two degrees: a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Theater. I also took many writing classes, focusing on different types of creative writing, from fiction to poetry to playwrighting. When I graduated in 2002, I spent several years in Barcelona, Spain working with college students. During that time, I tutored students in both English and Spanish, and several times taught introductory Spanish courses to students involved in summer exchange programs.
