I have worked with children and families within the social work field. I have facilitated training classes for adults as well as went to school with children to help them with their school work. I have had wonderful experiences teaching students of all ages and I think one of the best ways to reach students is to teach them individually. Usually, this is a luxury that one cannot afford in a classroom. As such tutoring will allow to focus on the individual needs, learning styles, and talents of the particular student I am teaching and help them draft, short, medium and long-term goals, and work toward achieving all three.

A Little Bit About Me...

Continuing education is vital to the success of many engaged in the ever diversifying classroom. Many traditional aspects of education are changing as I learned from other current educators participating in my Transition to Teaching program. I was honored to earn my teaching certificate while working with professional experienced teachers. My most recent experience was a Social Studies teacher position at a local Montessori school.
