I began to realize my love and aptitude for tutoring as a volunteer Japanese instructor for the Daikin home-stay program in 2006. The next two years I volunteered my time with Rosie's International Services tutoring Spanish. At the beginning of the Spring 2008 semester, the Head of the Foreign Language Department, Dr. Maier, submitted my name to a tutoring department at UAH, where I worked tutoring Spanish, Japanese, Latin, Chinese, and English as a Second Language until I graduated in Spring 2010. I was born to teach. From 10 years old I would teach my friends during summer vacations or whenever I could get them to play my favorite game, school, (Kids don't play school anymore). I enjoy helping students make the connections. I use a teaching approach that is hands on and generally seeks to find atudents learning style.
