In high school I helped tutor younger children. My freshmen year of college I volunteered as a tutor at Ely Chapman. I am currently a teaching assistant for an Anatomy lab. All of my experience has been one-on-one tutoring and I typically take a hands on approach to learning. I try to take a hands-on approach to teaching when possible. I find it helpful to use varied and often unusual objects and materials when teaching a lesson; it tends to make the material more memorable. However I am not above using the standard pencil/paper/textbook approach when needed. I consider myself to be a "beginner" teacher as I have recently graduated college and received my license. I have spent roughly 500 hours in the field as a result of college course requirements, and I have successfully completed a 12 week internship (student teaching) experience. I have had the opportunity to work in many different subject areas and classroom settings with students of various backgrounds, ages, and learning styles.

Trainer in a successful Call Center with over 25 yrs. experience, my role was to train phone reps to have a more pleasant, more successful “Contact Center Experience”, using scripting techniques, monitoring & tracking success and my own original training documents which were professional & challenging, yet fun & creative. I have the TOEFL certification which allows me to be an English teacher in Spain and an Spanish teaher in the United States I've been an English teacher at Trueba School for a group of children aged 3-10 for a semester I am from Spain so Spanish is my primary language and I am completely fluent on it, either written or spoken. I teached two students from Morocco, aged 20, spanish for a year. I like to have a nice relationship with the students, spend time with them and base my teaching on a variety of activities, such as Homework, reading and writting but also games, theater and movies.
