At Iowa State I started with as a sociology major but throughout my career I was able to find additional interests and ended my tenure at Iowa State with a degree in Sociology and Political Science, with minors in Criminal Justice and Philosophy. The following year I was offered a position as yearbook adviser, and I further developed my skills with high school students. Since 2004 I have been a private tutor, teaching all elementary subjects as well as most middle school and high school curriculum. As a college graduate, I started my teaching career in a catholic elementary school. I taught second grade for a year and first grade for two years. A Little Bit About Me...

My undergraduate and graduate education has given me the tools needed to excel as a student and given me the needed skills to tutor students in English and writing.
