I have overall 10 years of teaching experience. I came to United States to do my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. As a graduate student, I worked as a TA for the Department of Chemistry. I was trained on an intense 4 week program focused on undergraduate teaching methods offered by the Teaching College of U of Nebraska. Organic Chemistry is one of my top subjects!

I received my Bachelor of Science from Western Washington University and my Master of Science from the University of Oregon, both in chemistry. After graduation, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a synthetic chemist before starting a PhD program. While I ultimately decided not to complete my doctorate, I did discover I had quite a passion for teaching chemistry. I then started teaching test prep courses and tutoring students, and later I started teaching general and organic chemistry as an adjunct professor in the Seattle Colleges District which I have been doing for the past 3 years.
