I have received a Bachelors degree in both math and physics, as well as a Masters in applied math. All through college, and even back in high school, I excelled in both math and science. So, though my degrees are in math, I also have a well rounded knowledge of the rest of the sciences. I have tutored students ranging from ones with learning disabilities to adults who have returned to school, and everything in between. To tutor students, especially in mathematics, patience is a big factor. When tutoring, I do my best to constantly go over concepts stuck in the students head. Struggling students tend to fair better with examples and when things are explained in terms of what they understand. I do my best to break down the concepts in terms of what they already grasp.
