Violin is one of my top subjects! Concert Master of three orchestras, leader of String Quartet, and ranked in the Top 10 of Onondaga County for performance.

I feel as if students of the violin should develop musically as well as skill wise. Not only should you improve in your technical skills, but also your ability to interpret music on multiple levels. Also, I believe very strongly that not one student learns the same way, therefore, I will observe and analyze their responses to certain lessons and create a way of learning special to each and every student.
I have been performing for eight years on the violin. My education includes music instruction since third grade, private instruction for over three years, and an advanced education in music theory. I have performed in multiple ensembles, including: Syracuse Youth Symphony, a multitude of Advanced Orchestras, CNS String Quartet, Crane Youth Symphony, and other miscellaneous groups. I am a strong believer in relational learning and that is why I support the concept of tutoring. I love teaching and helping children to succeed. I believe that it is important for children to develop a life long love of learning. This should be accomplished through a safe and supportive environment and facilitated by a child-centered curriculum. I also believe students learn best when they can relate to what they are learning, as well as being immersed in it. This is best accomplished through integrated learning.
