It is very important to me that my students have fun while they are learning. Much of my teaching is done through games and hands-on experiences. I am a firm believer of the concept "know your audience", as each child may not learn in the same linear fashion. Children need to learn whether via spoken (lectures, slides,) or written word (powerpoint, research journals, quizzes,).
