My most recent experience was as apreschool teacher. Despite the fact that the children were all the same age, whatever developmental or cognitive delays a child might have, is not being addressed, therefore making the teaching environment, very stressful. Prior to the preschool classes, I taught as a substitute in the school district where I attended college. To this day, I am involved in my newphews schoolwork, and help him to write book reports and research papers. That is my specialty area. I have scored perfectly in the grammar section of my college writing exam and also have experience editing works for private papers.

I completed my bachelor degree in English in three and a half years at Bucknell University, and this has trained me in writing, literary analysis, and oral communication. While at Bucknell, I spent four months tutoring children at a local elementary school in grades 3-5 in math, science, and reading. I, also, completed Bucknell’s Writing Center four month training course for tutoring in all types of writing. I spent a full year tutoring peers, underclassmen, and even graduate students in their writing process. I facilitate learning best when I discover how students process information, for I am able to present information in uniquely meaningful ways. Therefore, I encourage discussions and ask questions regularly, and change teaching strategies promptly as needed. Second, I believe that students learn best from actively engaging the material. When students comprehend and utilize new information according to their own perspectives (versus memorizing), they increase the likelihood that the information will become permanent knowledge.
