A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in getting a good education. I was in the Unites States Navy for 16 years. I joined the military right out of high school. I received my Certificate in Management, Associate of Arts degree, and Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland College Park, Maryland while traveling and serving on active duty for my country. I have mentored and worked with many after school programs.
I am great at teaching youth and adults alike in getting the best education and setting goals. I am always excited about helping someone learn something new and training them different methods of learning and retaining the knowledge. I believe that success comes through education. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with young children since 2005. I started as a pre-school teacher with ages 3-5. For the past five years I have worked as an elementary school Teacher's Assistant. It was there when I got the most of my experience in classroom management and actually how to teach all children with different learning styles. I worked with grades second, pre-K, fifth, and first. I just recently graduated from Jackson State Unversity and I am currently teaching for HCHRA-Project Head Start. My classroom consists of 3, 4, and 5 year olds. I love working with elementary level aged children because it allows me the chance to help perpare them for the cahllenges ahead.

To exit Millsaps College, it is necessary to take an exit exam which is comprehensive. Because of this, I am an authority on the subject of biology. I am a graduate of the University of Southern MS, with a undergraduate in Business Marketing. I began teaching and tutoring in 2008-2009 school for Jackson Public Schools. I underwent the Alternative Route for teaching for ceritification. I am the Aaccelerated Reader Coordinator for Lee Elementary School. I also serve as Head Librarian for the school as well.
