I like to use the Socratic method, mainly by asking questions and challenging assumptions. In addition, I like to engage those I teach, challenging them to think about what they previously have not considered. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and tutoring children of all ages. Although I have only formally been tutoring for about 6 years, I was a tutor all through my childhood helping other children learn when I finished with my classwork. Since first grade I have always wanted to be a teacher, although my brain tried to steer me in a different direction in college. Yet, my heart brought me back to teaching. I have a BS in Cybernetics Engineering. As an engineer, my knowledge of math and physics is high. As a student I solved so many operations involving calculus that I memorized the formulas and used them as fast as the multiplication tables. I am a native Spanish speaker. I was trained as a language teacher by Berlitz, one of the best language centers in the world. I have a certificate in Drama. I worked for a private elementary school as a drama teacher for 2 years.
