I enjoy watching others learn and come to the realization that they can achieve their goals. My teaching/tutoring style is relaxed and pro-active. The more the student discovers on their own with only a little coaching and encouragement will last longer than if someone shows every step. I believe in a practical hands one real world method. Teaching and helping others is a passion of mine. I love the feeling I get when I realize I have helped somebody solve a problem. It makes them feel accomplished, and myself as well. When I tutor, I let the student come to me with the problem, and instead of doing it for them, I will break it down into smaller steps they can do. I will use similar examples from a book or problems I make up to show them the basics of the problem. I want to provide students with a good, strong mathematical foundation.
