I have had internships at the high school and elementary levels, with time spent both in the art classroom as well as the special education classroom. I have a BS in psychology with a minor in biology from the University of Illinois. My focus has been on medicine and science, working in adult medical education for over 12 years. I owned a medical education company for five years, working with physicians who would be considered the top two percent in their fields in the world. We developed curriculum for doctors, pharmacists and nurses to teach them about new drugs and new research, all with the hope of improving patient care. During this time, I honed my grammar skills by writing and editing journal articles and medical monographs. Along with my experience in adult education, I have always had a love for children.
