A Little Bit About Me...

Children all learn different, which is why I believe in using direct instruction in guiding their learning. Some children are more visual learns, while others may be more auditory. Varying the levels of teaching can allow for each child's needs to be met. I feel that I am able to adapt and change what I need to teach to meet those needs. I also believe scaffolding is a key component in guiding the way a child is able to learn. Along with scaffolding, providing the experiences and opportunities for a child is very important in helping them to reach their full potential. As a student I have always been very ambitious and excited to learn. I graduated from high school in the top 5 of my class and graduated from college with honors. As a young R.O.T.C cadet, I was very driven to excel in my college education. On my way to becoming a young Army Officer, I earned two bachelor degrees, BA in Communications and BA in Accoutning. My liberal arts educations granted me opportunities to learn and excel in many arenas such as writing, math, science, and the social sciences.
