Study Skills is one of my top subjects! I assist elementary students on the daily bases on how to study. I first make sure they are in a correct environment. I make sure the television is off and all necessary materials are available. I usually have additional study materials available for the student. For example, flash cards that is related to the subject and worksheets. Also, if the student is studying for a test. I can help the student complete miniature exams that will review his or her knowledge.

I am a very friendly and patient individual. Since I specialize in tutoring elementary children to adults,I understand I am going to have different methods of teaching. For all my students, I try to find out what their weakness and strengths are. I attempt to have them notice it as well; that way we can work together as a team. For children, I always have some type of reward or goal for them to strive for.
