I've been a tutor for the past 8 years. I started tutoring/teaching as a college student, and I've loved every moment. It's so rewarding to see a student's growth in a subject area. I want all children to have a chance. I feel that as a graduate of an accredited university, I am qualified to help the children get to where they need to be. As an educator, I hold three degrees in education. I have earned a BS in Elementary Education, A Master's in Elementary and I also hold a Specialist in Elementary Education as well as a Specialist in Administration and Supervision. I have taught 29 years in the public schools system. During the summer month, I tutor children in my home or at the local library. I also utilized my expertise by teaching in the after school program. I have taught reading, math, Language Arts, English in grades levels K-8.
