I’m pursuing a degree as a Middle School Math Teacher. I’m currently working on my Basic Skills Exam for Teaching in Florida and expect to have it completed in the next two weeks. I previously attended SLCC in Utah where I took a lot of Math and Science classes related to Electrical Engineering. My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : I have done math in high school and college right up to calculus II and Algebra III, and I have been tutoring to math from elementary up to college level.

I contact the student to know what subjects they need. I go to their home and meet them and their parents. I agree with them a schedule or they let me know when they need my help. I go to their house the agreed day and check what he/she knows about the subject to study. I assign to them different exercises like a pre-test. Every problem that they make wrong indicates to me that I need to explain that class. I don't go ahead until the student understands completely. I assign to them different exercises in order to see is they improve their knownledges. If the student want, we can study by a chat, when it is neccesary and they can send me the homework to review.
