A Little Bit About Me...

As a teacher for six years and a physical therapy aide for one, I believe I have very good teaching skills. Not only did I have to teach students music and math, subjects I know students are uncomfortable with, I had to teach and motivate patients to do exercises while they were in pain. I have had many years of experience tutoring and teaching students in Kindergarten through 12th grade computers, math, English and reading. I also have taught these same grades many guitar, percussion and voice lessons. I am classically trained in the voice area and I have a math minor.
I am able to teach children of all ages and also am able to tailor my teaching style to the age I am teaching. I love what I do for a living. I love teaching and coaching and have always wanted to be a teacher. I believe all childeren can learn given the opportunity. I believe students have their own unique intelligences and learning styles. My role as a teacher/ coach is to identify those intelligences and styles and deliver subject's content using strategies that support those intellegeneces and styles.
