Trabaje durante 30 años en el Departamento de Educación en Puerto Rico. Mi especialidad es en el area de las Matemáticas y Español. Durante 5 años trabaje como maestra Tutora en el Programa de Pruebas Estandarizadas para pasar de grado. Cuento con un certificado vitalicio de K-12. Tengo la capacidad y las herramientas necesarias para trabajar con cualquier tipo de estudiante.

A Little Bit About Me...

I feel that I am qualified for this position because I have 15 years of experience as a certified teacher. I have taught English II/CLA II for one year at the secondary level, twelve years in the first grade level ,one year as a fifth grade teacher and one year as a fifth/sixth grade teacher. My Texas life certificates include: Provisional Secondary English (6-12), Provisional Elementary English (1-8) and Provisional Elementary Self-Contained. The last three years I taught first grade at a campus that had been under a Reading First Grant and I had been trained in numerous reading strategies and activities. In the fall of 2006 I completed an on-line Masters of Education in Reading.
