As an Le Moyne College graduate, I was required to become well rounded in a multiple areas of study. I have achieved a BA in History and minor in the German language. The core courses in the Le Moyne curriculum assisted me in becoming well rounded in the areas of philosophy, religion,math and science. A Little Bit About Me...

I realize that math can be very boring to students, but contrary to popular belief it can also be, do I dare say it, fun. I believe that repetition plays an integral part in learning, but only if the material is relevant to the student. I really enjoy working with students no matter the age and I believe that everyone can be successful when it comes to math or any subject to that matter.
After graduating from high school, I was unsure what exactly I wanted to do. I began working as a counselor/activities director for a summer recreational program in 2004 which allowed me to realize that working with kids is what I want to do. At the University of Illinois at Chicago I earned a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering and worked as a teaching assistant for three sememsters of graduate school. After leaving the university I tutored former students from my labs in math, science, engineering, and programming. I did this as hobby. I enjoy working with students. I am currently helping someone working on a master's degree in computer science.

You can preach all you want to children, but if you don't teach, there will be no learning. I believe that children will learn from someone they trust to talk to and from someone who they trust to give them the correct answers to their questions. I enjoy being that person.
