I truly enjoy working with students of all ages. It doesn't matter what they don't know because I believe anyone can be taught anything, at least as long as you have the right teacher and materials at your disposal. I believe students are like little sponges. They're taking in everything around them. Obviously, if you fill their heads with garbage, they will learn garbage. However, if you fill their heads with quality information, you explain it in a way that they understand, and you make it fun for them to learn, then they will learn everything you're trying to teach. Drawing is one of my top subjects!

Very up to the student. I will push you towards your goal, but since this is art, I will only critique your planning and how you compose your work. Will help with basics.
Several years of artistic experience, with portfolio to prove it. I have done paintings (murals, on canvas, on wood, linoleum, house painting, watercolor, acrylic, etc.), drawings (pencil, colored pencil, charcoal), digital painting and drawing, sculpture (aesthetic sculptures, furniture sculptures), and costume design (halloween, cosplay, stage costumes). I have done commissions for several clients. I have never tutored in art before, but I believe I am at a skill level in which I can easily show those how to get their creative juices flowing.

From my teaching experience, I have been able to remain sensitive to students’ unique capabilities and provide a supportive and positive learning environment. My greatest strength includes the ability to motivate students using a variety of teaching styles in order to accommodate the variety of learning styles among each student.
I taught Kindergarten for five years at two different Title-1 schools in Okeechobee, Florida.
