A Little Bit About Me...

My approach is to cater to my students. For example, if a student is very interested in comic books and I am tutoring them in Spanish, I would find Spanish comic books appropriate for their age group. When it comes to history I like to introduce my students to the importance of essay writing and how to write a good history essay as well as timelines and Historical Identifications. If I am tutoring a high school student not only will I help them with their current work but I would also prepare them for history on the college level. I want my students to excel and be prepared for whatever comes next in their educational journey.

I am a Master's recipient and a prospective medical student

A hands-on approach, with a focus on making learning fun. I find that when a student is engaged and taking joy in his or her studies, it becomes less like work and more like an enjoyable hobby.
I have recently completed my course of studies in Medical and Biological Sciences and was awarded my Master's Degree from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi on December 19, 2014. I enjoy explaining certain concepts and then I may give the student a few problems to work on their own. I also love to create little tricks and fun ways to remember certain concepts. If possible, I love to you use hands on activities.
I have tutored in high school. After getting to college, I tutored on campus for four years in subject areas: Math, English, and Spanish. I have taken a few education courses. I have taught a lesson at a high school. I have also been introduced to different techniques/ways of teaching. Some people have a fear of math, but I love it and enjoy teaching it.
