I have been working as a teacher for about 7 years, but as an ASL teacher since January 2017. I am also a Texas Sign Language Interpreter that works in the community in various settings including the medical field. I have worked in classrooms with children with multiple disabilities who are non-verbal, to assist in teaching them Sign. I began working online 1 year ago and love every second of it. I absolutely love teaching others not only about true ASL and what sets it apart from English, but Deaf culture. I have always believed that we each learn at different paces and in different ways. Because of that, I tailor each lesson and curriculum to the needs and wants of every student.
