I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Whitworth University's teacher certification program. Since then I have successfully substitute taught in three school districts in the K-12 arena. I passed the Praxis II exams in Elementary Education, Reading Specialist, and Middle School Mathematics. In addition I pursue excellence rigorously and have strong work ethics. Before returning to school for my education degree I worked in various fields including; fitness and health, health insurance, and business sales. In these fields I worked closely with others in a team environment, advance my communication and organization skills, and learned to build relationships with people of all backgrounds. I strive to help the child discover the potential that is in them. I do this by patiently and calmly introducing methods and activities in a fun light environment. Positive reinforcement is paramount to a student that feels unsure or that is falling behind.
