Very visual, hands on techniques will usually help children more than regular teaching styles.
I have attended Carolina Forest Elementary School, Ocean Bay Middle School, and Carolina Forest High School. I am now attending Horry Georgetown Technical College. I have had prior experience in helping or educating children/ people when I worked at Ripleys Aquarium as an Educator and also occasionally helped in Kids Club by helping children with homework and other questions and help they seeked. My teaching style is adaptive. I believe everyone has the capacity to learn. The approach to learning is what makes the difference. Being a mother, I love children and am very patient. I also know that kids have their own distinct personalities and I address each child as an individual person, with their own talents and ideas. There is nothing better than when a person's face lights up, young or old, when they "get it." Knowing you have impacted a person, potentially for the rest of their life, is a reward in and of itself. The pay that comes attached to it is the bonus.

I have completed all courses for my Associates Degree and was a trainer at my previous position. When in high school, I was a college preparatory student and graduated with a high school Diploma as well as 12 Advanced Placement courses and completed my International Baccalaureate diploma.
I love teaching all grades and levels. The most important aspect of teaching is to know your student. Each individual learns in different ways, some are tactile learners, some are visual, and some are auditory learners. Incorporating all aspects into my teaching style assists the retention of the material. It also has to be relatable to the student, so we have to use relevant examples that they understand. All children can learn any subject if you can spark their interest. There is no better feeling than seeing the light turn on and the sense of accomplishment in a child's eyes.

For me, there's nothing better than seeing that light of understanding and excitement come over someone's face when they solve a problem (like math) or suddenly comprehend a subject they were having trouble with (like how to write a paper). And it doesn't matter what the age is; anyone can learn. I'm very patient, but I don't take nonsense from anyone either. They have to be as serious about learning as I am about teaching.
