I grew and learned a lot as a tutor during my time working at the University of Missouri. Everyone learns a different way and at different paces, so it was important to be patient and easy-going. A Little Bit About Me...

As a senior civil engineering student at Washington University, I have received an outstanding education, especially in math and science. I will graduate in May with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. In the fall, I will pursue a master's degree in civil engineering. Even though my fortes are in math and science, I believe that I have more than sufficient written and communication skills that would be valuable in tutoring. In high school, I tutored advanced algebra for a year, and I also taught Spanish to elementary school students. I also have tutoring experience working with high school age African immigrants. I tutored them in English and math. I also helped them prepare for the GED if they were not enrolled in high school classes.
