Experienced. Effective. The logical choice.

I have always enjoyed teaching others sharing my love of learning. I find it most effective to use a variety of methods to successfully teach information. Material is best learned when it can be easily understood by the student and has practical applications for everyday life. I am not the type of tutor to just hand out answers to problems. Throughout my educational career I have always enjoyed science classes. Due to this proficiency I was selected as a teacher's assistant for two undergraduate Biology classes. I also took 3 science based education classes. These classes were a great experience where we worked at a local high school with three exceptional science teachers. From September ‘08 - January ‘10 I was at the UCD – LRC tutoring students in Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry doing individual tutoring as well as multiple-student tutoring. I sincerely enjoyed my work at the LRC for it gave me the opportunity to become accomplished in many different areas. It strengthened my understanding in the above subjects and my leadership skills.
