I fundamentally believe anyone can learn. If a student isn’t grasping a concept, it just means I have to change my style of teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

As A recent graduate from a Liberal Arts School, I found it easy to connect with teaching as my calling. I have always driven for high levels of excellence in and outside the classroom and work force. Having an English and Philosphy background, I find it easy to critically think and annotate extensively works of literature. And from that I find that my skills are up to par due to writing research papers and annotating other people's work. My experiance as a student teacher at a private school in rural VT, allowed me to expand the pupils' minds to outside their comfort zone in order to learn about the world we live and the connection it has to literature.

My approach to teaching relies heavily on the use of modeling. Modeling is a powerful tool in the development of not only writing and language skills, but also in exposing my students to a framework which will allow them to hone their own thought processes and work habits.
