Teaching has been something I have done a great deal of my life no matter what path I was on. When I was in nursing school, patient teaching was a strong point of mine. I love children. I am currently heading for a BS in Elementary Education while I am home schooling my children. I have home school grades 6-11. I have accomplished raising reading levels within 6 months past 2 grades past level. I have tutored and home schooled children outside my own and have been asked to assist children with reading. I have a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science and Statistics. I have 24 years of experience in software development for the U.S. Army. I have done ballistics calculations for nuclear warheads, geometry checks for rocket systems and developed the math procudures to do all the mathematical calculations within the systems developed.
