I am a College Student studying English and Politics

I was a tutor in high school for many elementary and middle school aged children. I am also experienced with writing papers, so I can help anyone who is writing for a college application or essay. I am a very quick learner, so if there is a subject I am not as familiar with I am willing to study it to help a student. My teaching style I would describe two-fold: First, my military background taught me their three step process; tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, and then tell them what you told them and my own personal style which is a hybrid of the discovery method and guided question and answer. Upon my graduation from UNC Chapel Hill, I worked various jobs; however, I could not find fulfillment in what I experienced. I decided upon moving to Charlotte in March 2006 to go into Secondary Teaching in English. I gained an excellent education at UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Charlotte.
