Teaching is so rewarding, there's nothing better than helping someone understand something they have struggled with in the past. I am a very patient person who loves to work with people. I also enjoy helping people overcome challenges. For example: when I worked at the accounting office my specialty was dealing with clients who had or have issues with the IRS. I was born into a Christian farm family in Hartford, Alabama, in 1952. After earning a B. S. in Special Education from the University of Alabama and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and Counseling from Tennessee Technological University, I taught special education classes at North Middle School in Lenoir City, Tennessee, for nine years before moving back home to take care of my parents.
