A Little Bit About Me...

As a tutor I have had 5 years of experience working with students of many different ages and a variety of backgrounds. I majored in Spanish in college, but I have also taught Latin and English. Because of this specialty in language, I understand well how to teach grammar and good reading, writing, and speaking skills. I, also, received a certificate to teach English as a Second Language, which means that I have a solid foundation of education training to couple with my tutoring experience.
From my experience I found that the process of working side by side with my student as they strive to figure out a problem or grasp a concept is what I most enjoy about tutoring. I love mentoring and teaching to not only children but adults. Everyone has the ability to learn.
