I have helped tutor AVID high school students when I was a senior at Cherry Creek High School. I enjoy helping the kids learn and believe that being a tutor would pay it forward since I had so much help from tutors. I've taught English in India to predominantly Tamil speaking children grades first through sixth. I was also teaching mathematics and science for a semester. I have a lot of experience in the arts. I've done children's theater and worked with high school students in oral interp. I've acted in college theatre productions, and also had the chance to direct, stage manage, and work with stage production on multiple shows. As a teacher’s assistant for photography in high school, I realized that I had a natural aptitude for teaching and breaking subjects down into manageable parts. In college, I was the person that other students came to for guidance with difficult topics, from mathematical equations to evolutionary theory. Since I earned my BS in wildlife biology, I have taught in many capacities, including as a substitute teacher and as a trainer for new employees.
