Patient English and Drama Teacher

My teaching style is being patient and kind and letting students get actively involved in the lessons.
I am a Certified Teacher in the State of Washington and currently work as a Substitute Teacher for the Fife Public Schools. I have been a Substitute Teacher for local school districts and chose to work part time since I was caring for my elderly father who passed away in 2012. I enjoy teaching Elementary Education, Preschool, Drama, and English. I taught Drama for The City of Lakewood back in 2008 to 2010. I love to teach, and I believe my teaching style is very laid back. I like to allow my students to attempt things and try to figure it out with the information I provide. That way I know they are grasping the concepts. That is more important to me then speeding through a course just to get things done. I would be a failure if one of my students left my course not knowing exactly what they were doing. So I pride myself in slowing down if needed to ensure everyone is on the same page and can retain the information that is being taught to them.
