A Little Bit About Me...

I really enjoy teaching, I have kids that love completely different kinds of music and is fun to discover what they really like, what I do is really simple I just motivate my students teaching them what they really want to learn, I have to learn songs that they really like and show them how to play them in an easy way using music theory and harmony so they understand a lot more. It works great because they do learn fast and I'm having more students every month by recommendations.
I finished my high school in Peru and after that I went to Barcelona(spain) to study music. I started playing guitar 10 years ago but playing like 12 hours per day, I took it really serious, I started teaching 5 years ago, and right now is what I do, I work with bands playing in bars, casinos, or recording sessions, and I give private lessons, I work at Rhythm fire school of music in olympia also. I love the learning process. My goal is to provide an environment for the student to grow to love the process of learning. I see myself as a guide there to encourage the student in certain directions and to lead him to specific discoveries. I know when to patiently wait for discovery to occur and when to offer additional help and guidance. When learning is enjoyable and curiosity is created, the student finds the resolve, motivation, and determination necessary to continue learning. Hopefully, it will become a lifelong habit.
Though my primary study has been of a religious nature, I am very skilled in the other subjects of a quality educational foundation, as well.
