Teaching patience and fun learning!

I have a lot of experience teaching children in many areas of study and extra curricular activities such as; swimming, art, English, spelling and reading. A Little Bit About Me...

Pick out what's good and encourage that. It is too easy to focus on the negative. As a writer who understands rejection very well, it has humbled me. Another set of eyes always helps during the editing process. Sometimes a writer just needs to be set on the correct path, and they can do much of the rest from there. Being a parent has also taught me patience, which is something any teacher needs. Also, reading helps you become a better writer. I think when I was younger I didn't want to hear that as much, but it's true.
While I have made a living as a technical writer in the software industry for sixteen years, part of making a life has been through my creative writing.
