All things good to know are difficult to learn!

I have always been a math person, even as a little kid. I am currently attending Francis Marion University and double majoring in Mathematics and Finance. In the spring of 2014 I will be taking Calculus III and Multivariable Calculus. I tutor my friends and they love the way I teach compared to their professors or instructors. If I do not initially know how to solve a problem, it will take me a few minutes to learn it, provided that there are notes available. I have also been into music for the past 9 years. My comments on tutoring Study Skills : Currently attending college, where studying is a must. Well developed studying habits that are easy to convey and learn.

My teaching style is very hands on, and student focused. I like to connect with whoever I teach on a personal level so that they can feel comfortable with me as a tutor and with themselves while learning how to approach old problems in new ways.
My experiences come from a mix of studies and real life application. I have studied various forms of writing, from professional, creative, and argumentative; these include gather sources and properly citing them in both MLA and APA formats. My personal applications of these writing materials have been for personal use in working on short stories and poems. I have an extensive history with drawing, mainly through personal sketches (both cartooning and realism). While in college, I have also studied several techniques that have greatly improved my drawing practices in the form of realistic drawing.

I can still remember my second grade teacher (Ms. Golf), she made learning fun and seemed like everyday was an adventure in her class. Sadly, not all teachers are like that.
