Tutoring differs from teaching in that "style" is replaced by method. Some of the methods I have used in the past are rhythm and music, neumonic devices, and of course, drill and practice. I have been told that I am gifted with presenting material in novel ways.
As mentioned in my earlier description, I have eighteen years experience as an educator. I have taught students of all ages from early childhood through college and non-traditional adult education. I have over 21 years of experience in law enforcement. In each of those years I was required to instruct others in numerous subjects. Those years gave me a sense of discipline and motivation which I applied to my students learning experiences. During my lifetime, I have experienced a wide variety of professional exposures, and I did my best to master each one. This gives me a tremendously broad base of practical knowledge to impart to others.
