I am responsible for professional development of teachers seeking ESL certification, train principals on bilingual/ESL requirements and work as an instructional coach to teachers. In addition, I provide English classes for adults in my district. In order to aid my teachers and help them keep up with the changing needs of our students, I am always researching for the most updated information in order for them to be knowledgeable on what is going on outside the school. It is important to me that I provide teachers, students and partners the best education possible.
My style is hands on and practical. I feel it is important for my students to understand how they can apply what they learn to real life and teach them how to problem solve when they are in difficult situations. In addition, I am very personable and I work hard to help my student achieve their goals.
