Hi! My name is Lauren Cotman. I am a middle school Spanish teacher in Chesterfield County. I have been studying Spanish since I was in the 6th grade and went on to become the President of the Spanish National Honors Society while I was in High School. While in High School, I developed a love for the language and all of the different cultures of the Spanish speaking world. I went on to major in Spanish at Bridgewater College and I was very active with the Latino population on campus and in the community. Over thirty years of college teaching experiences for a number of universities to include Florida Institute of Technology and Central Michigan University. The most recent contract was to teach MSA 600, Foundations of Research Methods in Adminstration for CMU at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Summer 2015. I also served as a trainer and training supervisor for over 20 years at the U S Army Quartermaster Center and School, Fort LEE, VA. From January to June 2015 I served as the Campaign Chair for the Living Our Mission Fund Drive at St Joseph Catholic Church, Petersburg, VA.
