I retired from IBM February 2010 after 31 years and my new goal is to be an educator. I did custom circuit logic design for numerous products and conducted education sessions covering Test Plans, Design Reviews, Competitive Equipment Operation, and Product Education to Marketing, and developed and presented findings relative to my Team Leadership roles. I was also very involved in student and college co-op mentoring opportunities supported by IBM. I have developed my academic skills and my skills technically and as a lecturer and educator as well. I enjoy helping students of all ages learn. Education lays the groundwork for every goal that one aspires to in life. I love the English language and words. Being a tutor for grades 6-8 was different because they had the basics. They needed to be informed and focused. Substitute teaching grades K-8 was rather different because the children acted as though they haven't learned anything, so you had to make them feel comfortable.
